Meet Senon Salinas, Owner of Amity Painting Company
I was born in McMinnville Oregon but grew up in a small town southwest of Portland called Amity. The word “Amity” stems from the Latin word amicus, which means friendships and relationships. Amity was the embodiment of the tight-knit community that I had surrounded myself with; I played on the football team, loved to make things by hand and grew up with the blessed knowledge that neighbors take care of each other.
I decided to move to Seattle when I realized that I wanted to experience life in the big city without losing the small town sense of community; West Seattle was a perfect match.
In 2008, I gained the knowledge and experience that I needed in order to begin my own painting company. I signed up for a 15-week business class through the local community college, formed my business and am properly licensed, bonded and insured.
Amity Painting has steadily grown over the years; we have completed hundreds of residential and commercial jobs. Some of the more recent commercial jobs in West Seattle that have been completed include the Stor-More on Yancy St and the Fauntleroy Church on California Ave. My workers and I live and work in Seattle and all share the “Amity” mission to take excellent care of our neighbors. In order to accomplish this mission standard, we give honest advice, competitive estimates and follow through with your expectations with the highest quality work. Amity Painting Company opened for business in 2008; since then, we’ve brought beautiful color to Seattle by painting hundreds of area homes and businesses. “Amity” means friendship and relationships; it’s also the name of my hometown in Oregon. As a lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, it’s an honor to deliver courteous, personable service and world-class interior and exterior painting to my neighbors here in Seattle.
